Question about Microsoft Windows XP Professional With Servise Pack 2 (e8503040) for PC
I bought a laptop from someone but they dont have the password to the windows. i have tried safe mode anything nothing seems to help. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Do an inplace upgrade with a windows 2000 install disc, and after it restarts from the win16 bit interface, and it boots up from HDD to the screen where it says "installing device drivers" press shift+F10 and that should bring up a command prompt. from there, type in "nsrmgr.cpl" and configure. also try at the command prompt "control userpassword2"
