Remote Code Anyone know of a Comcast Remote Code for the Proscan 26LA30Q

    I tried the remote code suggested (10093) Still no luck ! I do however appreciate the suggestion. The remote control is a Comcast remote for HD..

Proscan is a Sony product so try the Sony codes. It worked for my sons proscan tv. 11100, 10000, 11317...

Don't know how to activate closed caption, and cannot find instructions
What is the TV source? For some sources (set top box), you may need to turn on the captions using the menus of the box.

Assuming you are using a source that gives captions that the TV can interpret, if you have the Proscan 26LA30Q remote, press the CC button to toggle through the caption options. Another route is to press Menu (either on the remote or the buttons on the side of the TV) then select the Feature submenu with the left/right arrows. Press Enter (menu when you use the buttons on the TV) then navigate to the Digital Closed Captions option. Here you can set the captions to on and adjust the size, style and color of the captions when they appear on-screen.

If you are using a universal remote, try the CC button. If it doesn't work, try another code for the Proscan TV on the remote. There are some codes that may not control all of the functions of the TV with the remote.

Comcast remote won't accept codes for Proscan TV
I had the same problem. I have the 40 inch Proscan and they supplied a remote control guide for comcast. It was only 4 digits and it did not work. I called Comcast and they did not know. I found it needed 5 digits so I added a 1 and it worked The code is 10178. Hope it works for you.

Remote code for comcast dvr/proscan tv
I was having the same problem with my 40" Proscan Tv. I had to go to Comcast and get the remote with the gray OK button instead of the red. I could program my DVD player with a 4 digit code so this remote worked when I put in the 4 digit code Proscan sent with the TV (0178). This was the only solution I could find . They do have the remotes with the gray button but you might have to be very persistant to get one with the codes for the rest of your electronics.

Lost channels on proscan tv
Press the menu button on your remote.  That should give you the main menu where you can go into add/delete channels and do an autoscan to only save channels that are good.

What is the resolution for the proscan model 26LA30Q 26". Is it a 720 or 1080 resolution .
it believe it is 720. I know it does not say anywhere. I found one website which sold this TV and it stated it was 720 resolution

I came here looking to find out how to program my direct TV remove without any luck. The codes that direct TV provided are 10047 and 11447 for proscan. What code does dish provide?
