Problem to transfere recordings from sansa express to computer

I got some important recordings on my sansa express, which I need to transfere to the computer, but the computer doesn't recognize it as sansa express, only as MTP device without showing any files. I'm using Windows XP. The transfering worked in the past using other computers. What to do?

How to open an archive file from mail MS Outlook Express (dbx type), but without MS Outlook Express?

Look at the File menu. Perhaps there you will find "to Open".... It is possible through the import will work, but specify other personal folder (that others mail didn't mix up with yourself mail). File - Import - Outlook Express - the Main record - Review - the Necessary file - OK. I have my mail is almost always through the import downloaded, after reinstalling. Or try using this DBX Open File Tool If you do not want through Outlook. You can find it here http://www.dbx.openfiletool.com/
Go to the forum here and read this topic

Hello,

When the Sansa Express keeps freezing you can RESET the device using next step:
note:
The device can be either on or off, player NOT connected to the computer:
Press and hold the Volume Up (+) and Select buttons simultaneously for approximately 20 seconds.

When the "rebuilding database" message keeps coming back, the player will need an update.
Use the Sansa Firmware Updater (works on Windows only) or go for the matching download on the forum:
http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/446/kw/database/p/555%2C662%2C687/r_id/101834
The Sansa Firmware Updater will contain the driver for the computer to perform a firmware update on your player [ METHOD 1 ].
When downloading the driver package manually, first put the driver "StMp3Rec.sys" in the correct folder on your computer. Next start the SansaExpressUpdater [ METHOD 2 ].
During this update, connection between player and the computer is based on MTP mode, Media Transfer Protocol: Drivers and software are needed to get access to the player.

The player could also be accessed in MSC mode, seeing the player as a removable disk. How to get connection in MSC mode, see next link:

I don't know how to get music onto my Sansa Fuze.

Hello,

There's a Sandisk support site for the Sansa Fuze, see:
http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3249/

Sansa Fuze user manual in pdf format:
http://mp3support.sandisk.com/sansa/UserManual/FUZE/fuze_userguide_en.pdf

Important
There are 2 ways the Fuze can be connected to a computer to transfer
music: MTP mode or MSC mode, read page 16 (=13) of the manual.
The player can be set to automatic detection of the connection mode
or can be set to either one of the available connections.

MTP mode is used for transfers using software like Sansa Media Manager or Windows Media Player 11.

MSC mode is used for transfers using the "drag and drop" method in the computer's explorer.

How to import Outlook Express mails to Windows

Open Outlook Express go to File then Export and proceed to what you want to export. Follow the instructions from there. You will need a flash drive or CD to save the files and move them.
Next go to Windows Mail, go to File then "Import".
Follow the instructions and you should be good!

Music transferred from internet to my sansa not good

Am not sure which of the 2 actions we did solved the problem...but we installed the CD that came with it (my daughter has a Sansa C260 and her CD was already installed in the computer and we thought I didn't have to install mine). But we resorted on installing mine too in case it would help with the problem, and then we re-loaded all the songs into my Sansa C250 at a slower pace, although I really don't know if the quicker pace did cause the problem. But now my Sansa C250 is now able to record any song correctly.
