Ok so I have connected my dvd player to the vcr but how do I make my vcr recognize it? Do I need to press a button from my vcr remote because my vcr remote is busted as I install new batteries and it still won't connect to my vcr so i'm using a universal remote but I want to know how do I let my vcr recognize my dvd player?

WizThe VCR will most likely see the DVD player on AV1 try and find a button marked "input" or "av" on either the universal remote or on the VCR itself.
