Thanks for answering my question - however, something I didn't provide you was the actual model number of my microwave which is JVM1870SF02. From what I've been told thus far, the part WB27X10017 is the correct part for my microwave, however, I did have some doubt since on the Hong Kong website, it says this part accommodates up to a 1,000 watt microwave, and since mine is 1,100, I wondered if the information I've received so far is correct. Also, when the magentron needs replacing, does the technician need the "assembly", which I believe includes the diode and antenna? Can't the ones that are in there do when replacing the magentron, or does the whole thing need to be replaced? If you could answer this asap since I have a bid on Ebay to buy just the magnetron, and I don't want to end up having to get the whole assembly after I've already purchased the magnetron itself, that would be a needless expense if I have to buy the whole assembly. Can the diode and antenna be purchased separately?

Find out the manufacturer or brand, model and serial number of the microwave. Google the brand name and then navigate to the manufacturer's web site. Look for something like "register product", "customer care" or "owners" and click on it. You should be prompted to supply your name, address, date of purchase, model, serial number and probably even more. Generally, you'll only have to divulge the info listed above to register - but some sites may be a little pushy for info like household income, etc. If you'd rather not supply that - skip it. If you aren't able to submit due to the site balking at missing info - then you'll have to fill out the registration card that came with the microwave (but only put down the info you're willing to provide) and mail it in. Done.
