Fuse keeps blowing

Last year I had a fuse blow. Took my husband a while to find the problem. This year, it happened again. He replace the fuse and then the next time I went to use the machine it blew again. Any suggestions on what may be causing this problem?

The fuse I'm speaking of is inside the machine. Would this still be a cause for the problem?

My fuse has blown twice and the hand wheel is tight. How and where do I oil the hand wheel? We are missionaries in Mexico and cannot take it to a repair shop. We have replaced the fuse ourselves. It i

The fuse is blowing because the wheel is tight. This causes an increase of load on the motor which in turn blows the fuse.
I would look at the upper and lower shafts for thread wraps or dirt, properly lubricate the bushings, turn machine by hand and try to find tight spots. no sense putting in a new fuse until the problem is fixed

Janome memory craft 9000 fuse blowing

You probably do not have the correct fuse, it is a slow blow type and difficult to find. Purchase one from a dealer that sells Janome.

Fuse keeps blowing

That means you have a short somewhere. Find the short before you replace the fuse.

Need fuses for janome 4000

You can get the fuse at Radio Shack. Part number 270-1065. It is a 3.15 amp 250 volt slow-blow fuse.
If you replace the fuse and it blows again, you need a new A circuit board part number 829606005.

When i switch on my Bernina Artista 180 it blows

Almost-certainly due to the main switching transistor having blown, however this is not necessarily an easy fix ... very often when this happens it takes a number of other components with it ... I had one last week where no less than 10 other components had got fried (and I do mean fried beyond recognition, due to somebody having put a bigger fuse in - doh! - dont ever do this ... it's dangerous!). Best thing to do if you dont really know what you're doing is to get a complete exchange 'L'-print.

My Janome 9000 also quit a few months ago, took it to repair shop and they replaced a fuse. Have only used it about 2hrs since and it did the same thing again. So we decided to replace fuse...

Your fuse is blowing because there is a bind in the machine. Did they service the machine when they replaced the fuse? If yes, it should be under warranty. Best guess is that it is tight from lack of lubrication, usually at the bushing nearest the hand wheel.

Fuse keeps blowing.

We just found the fuse!! You need several kinds of screwdrivers and loosen the bottom. Then the side piece has one screw that holds it on and we had trouble getting that off but eventually I just held it differently from my husband and it came off so easily. We finally got to the black plastic box that is held on the bottom with two screws and 3 clips of wires. Once we got that loose there were two more covers to take off until we finally found the two fuses! My husband is on his way to Radio Shack now to get a couple 3 amp fuses. It's obviously blown - so we trust this will work once we get all the screws back in the right place!

My Rose 605 blows the overload motor fuse.

I finally fixed this machine. What was wrong was the PC board. It was very expensive to fix. Over $500.
