Question about Pioneer DV-393-S

1 Answer

Pionneer DV-393-K I am trying to hook up my Pioneer DVD player with a Toshiba Television. Problem is that I also have cable which is working fine with the Television, image and all, yet the moment I switch to video hoping to play a film, there is sound yet no image on the TV. Could you help me find a solution? Thanks Aube

Hi there, I have the same problem. Is your screen blue on the TV when a movie is playing on your DVD, however the sound is playing on your TV?

Hooking up this dvd player -- I have audio but no

TRY USING THE RED AS THE YELLOW AND THE YELLOW AS RED, THIS SHOULD MAKE ONE SIDE OF THE AUDIO NOT WORK AND THE VIDEO WORK. REPEAT WITH THE YELLOW/ WHITE. TRY DIFFERENT CORDS. TRY IT ON A DIFFERENT SYSTEM. YOU MAY HAVE KNOCKED SOMETHING LOOSE INSIDE IT.

I can hear the dvd playing but cant get a picture

Make sure the video cable is plugged into the proper spot on both TV & DVD player. 2nd. Try cleaning with a good quality DVD cleaner. If this still doesn't solve the problem replace the video cable. Hope this helps & please remember to rate my answer. Thanks.
