Did you install the Drivers?
Either from the disc or under the new Hardware Wizard...
E-mail me on Staunchporra@gmail.com if the data on it is corrupt then format the removable drive......

Please can you help I have a white 30G ipod, trying to coonect to laptop running Vista. I have itunes installed and it wont reconize the ipod

You might need a new USB cord. Try launching iTunes before connecting the iPod, and using a different USB port. If that doesn't work, try a different cord ( maybe borrow one )

Wont turn on

Triple Reset for Philips’ GoGear:

Disconnect the Go Gear from computer. Press the reset pinhole until the player turns off. Hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard. If this pop-up does not appear, reset the player again WHILE connected to the computer. Open the Philips Device Manager, and go to Repair Tab. Reset the player one more time while connected to computer. Follow the repair instructions.

After repair is complete, upgrade the firmware for this player. Will erase all the songs, but you should be good to go again.

My computer wont reconize my mp3 player when connected by usb port.

Did you get an installation disk with your mp3 player? If you did try installing it sometimes it might not work if just plugged in. Hope this helps.
