Uhh yeah I got an ILO mp3 player for Christmas, a 1 gig one. I decided I wanted more space. (Kind of off subject, but it's kinda lame that card side doesn't have the List option). but anyway I bought a 2 gig SD card from radioshack, and I put 513 songs on it. It synced fine. It says all the songs are on there. They are even all in the folder when I open it up through My Computer from the desktop. Then I turn the thing on, and the card loads fine, it works. But the problem is there are only 306 songs out of the 513 it said were synced to the device. Why would they be in the folder when its plugged in, but not when I unplug it and try to play them? Some insight would be appreciated

I can help! The mp3 player's are only built by standard specifications and they are only built to work with 2gb sd cards at the max. so i suggest using the 2gb sd card or buying an mp3 with more memory space.
Not sure if you have found the solution to your
mp3/SD-card problem, it has been almost a month. Obviously I had the same
problem. That's how I found your question. What I did was re-format both the mp3
and SD, then loaded the SD card first and sofar so good.
I bought a 2gigabyte sd card and put music to it and got the same problem turned out the my lyra only can go up to 1gig sd card my rca kazoo only would go to 512 and get the same problem so check to see what your player can go up to
What, you actually hotwired a flash card into the Ilo? Impressive. Or are you trying to get the Ilo to play music from an SD card, when you have both plugged into the computer?
If you're talking about the first, then I'd say you did a good job at NOT destroying your Ilo. If its the second, then unplug your Ilo, put your headphones into the headphones jack in the computer, and play the music from your computer.
When I put in extra 1 gig of memory on my 1 gig unit and then looked at it in my computer the extra memery showed up as another drive. I had 1 gig from the unit as 1 drive and on another drive I had another 1gig
