Re: droped camera any idea how to fix or what i might...

Hi I have got one the same as yours, had it for over 4 years now, and its getting a bit old I have accidently dropped my camera a few times same thing happens to yours the the screen was white but no problem with the battery part, the only thing that is worn out is the zoom out button although I can only zoom in thats all..
I would rather u take your camera to a reputable camera shop and ask them to check it to see if its repairable or not, I probably think it wont, as they cost a fair bit for repairs, as lots of new camera's are now cheaper than they were 4 years ago..

I have lost my set up CD for uploading photos on to my PC, just wondering if you have a copy of it and email that to me, I dont know if that will work or not but its exactly the same camera.

Good luck if you get it repaired.

My daughter has a Coolpix S210 and when we try to take a picture it is blurry/out of focus. I did a factory reset of settings but it didn't help. Any ideas if this can be fixed or what could have caused...

Take a few pictures with the camera on a tripod or a firm surface. Are they still blurry? Are you pressing the shutter button halfway to allow the camera to lock in the focus before pressing the rest of the way? Have someone watch while you take a you move when pressing the shutter?

When i turn on the camera the lens wont pop open even when the battery is fully charged.... i was taking pictures and it working fine turn the camera off and on again then the lens wont open anymore? i can...

The problem is
1- some dirt somehow got on the outside of the lense. After it was retracted fully in, it prevents the camera from opening again. When you turn it on, if it opens a little bit, try to pull it out NOT too hard and let go a few times. If it opened, clear the outside of the lense. Your camera should be back to normal.
2- If you droped the camera, you probably damaged or dislocated a mechanical part of the lense. You may have to take out the lense by unscrewing it and inspect it for damged parts or disconnected cable. Make sure clean the lense and test it by moving it in and out a few times, before puting it back on the camera.

Good luck!!!!!!!

MX1063 will turn on and lens comes out, but immediately turns off and lens goes back in. I charged it for hours and still nothing.

The outside of the lense may be dirty. When it comes out clean it. Or something else prevents it from fully opening. If it is clean, you might have droped it and damaged or broke mechanical part(s) of your lense. When it opens, try to hold the lense open, do not force it. If the did not help, take out the lense from the camera and inspect the lense. look for broken, or bent parts. Clean it and push the lense in and out. If it moves in and out without any problem, put it back on your camera. If the problem was from the lense, your camera should be back to normal.

Good luck!!!!!!!

I droped my camera on the grond and it wont turn fell the side of the lens

Theres a very good chance you are going to have it repaired by a Camera Repair person. I would really need to know the brand and model.
If it is a canon then it will most def. need a new lens assembly. they have metal pins which guide the lens and when they are droped the pins break out of place.
If it is a Nikon or Sony or Casio alot of times I have been able to push the lens straight and it will re-align itself and work perfect again. But that said I wouldnt be too forceful unless the camera is not worth fixing. In that case you really arnt risking anything other than the possibility of fixing it.

Difference between flash image on camera screen and PC

Every picture looks good on the LCD since it's small, make sure you set your camera to flash, try ISO 200 and if the flash is TTL (thru the Lens) for digital it should adjust to the shot based on your other settings - I'm not familiar with that flash.

I droped my canon powershot sd 630 now it wont turn on

There really is no way to fix this camera unfortunately. You will need to send it in for service. You can set it up online or call Canon tech support to set it up for service. There isn't much troubleshooting you can do on the phone with no power. If you are beyond your one year manufacturer's warranty, you may also qualify for the upgrade program for deeply discounted newer models for your camera. At last check, yours qualified for the upgrade to the SD750 for $100 whereas the minimum repair cost for your camera will be probably around $99.

Outside pictures are white

I had the same problem, but I fixed it for now. What happened was that part of the shutter got stuck, so it was taking in too much light from outside. Indoor pictures looked ok, unless there was motion. You can see if this is the same problem by looking in your lens and zooming in-see if anything looks weird; you should just see a reddish circle in the center of the lens. I wouldn't really recommend disassembling your lens like I did, but if you want to, I can try to help.
