Getting 5 orange flashes what is the problem?

if it is a 7 then u must replace.

Flashes orange 1 time every 5 seconds. The internal cooling fan is not working.
Flashes orange 2 times every 5 seconds. The Lamp Cover is unsecured.

Light Orange - 7 beeps: Re-install cartridge or replace it

Light Orange - 8 beeps: Waste is almost full

Flash 1 x Orange - 10 beeps (error code 6100): Try unplugging the printer for 30 seconds, if not requires service.

Flash 2 x Orange - 10 beeps (error code 6300): Try unplugging the printer for 30 seconds, if not requires service.

Flash 3 x Orange - 10 beeps (error code 6800): Try unplugging the printer for 30 seconds, if not requires service.

Flash 4 x Orange - 10 beeps (error code 5100): Make sure nothing is blocking the cartridge movement, if not requires service.

Flash 5 x Orange - 10 beeps (error code 5400): Try unplugging the printer for 30 seconds, if not requires service.

Flash 6 x Orange - 10 beeps (error code 5B00): Waste full (make a reset)

pixma ip3300 flash orange 5 times, i remove all catridge / remove print head and orange flash 5 times. help!!!

Probably your waste ink counter. Should be cleaned or replaced before resetting but usually you can get away with resetting once.
1. Start with printer OFF
2. Hold down RESUME and then hold down POWER
3. Release RESUME
4. press RESUME twice, then release POWER
5. let green light blink until printhead has finished moving.
6. Select functions below with RESUME, execute with POWER

0 presses - green light - Test Print (exit service for i960)
1 press - orange light - EEPROM info print
2 presses - green light - EEPROM initialise
3 presses - orange light - reset waste ink counter.

This also applies to the i550, i560, i950, i960

5 times says the feed roller is not turning properly, sometimes the gears break and other times something falls in the back and stops the roller from turning. It's a different error if the orange flashes 5 times, or if it flashes orange and green 5 times.
