SOURCE: GE Profile water filter housing leaks
Hi there is a grommet you can replace.
#WR02X10678 it is about $7.00 It can help seal the plug sometimes. Ge does want you to buy the whole filter assembly it is number
#WR17X11618 $51.50 . You may also consider putting a new filter in. It seals better than the plug it is number
#gwf $42.95. I dont know why they dont sell a o-ring kit. I guess they just dont make much money on o-rings. I hope this will help you. Have a nice day.

SOURCE: My GE Profile fridge periodically (eve other n) leaks water
Thaw out the defrost drain in the freezer. It has frozen over and the defrost water has nowhere else to go except on your floor.
SOURCE: Water from Ge profile refrigerator
The water
filter for this refrigerator is optional. The
GE part number is: WR97X0214, or one of the box stores also carries a universal
filter. Just make sure it for a ¼ inch line. The water filter is located on the
back side of your refrigerator, and will have to be pulled out from the wall.
Use caution not to break the water line when pulling/rolling it out.
SOURCE: GE profile side-by-side water dispenser works, no ice though
Ice maker bad or the ice maker water valve mounted on the same bracket as the dispenser is bad. These frigs are prone to bad ice makers after a few years.
SOURCE: GE Profile TFT25 PR. Ice maker quit producing
I had the same problem with a different side by side model. The ice maker quit making ice, while the water flowed fine, and the ice maker mechanism seemed to turn just fine. Turned out I did 1 thing to fix it. I turned back down the freezer temperature setting from 5 degrees, to 0 degrees. Walllah.....in about 30-40 minutes it began spitting out ice again. It seems it won't work at a higher than normal setting. Also, I hapened to change water filter today and it not onl produces a stronger flow of clean water, it puts out a serving of high quality, clear ice about every 45 minutes. Before anyone goes to the trouble of paying for unnecessary parts and hassle, try what I did first.
