Re: supermario 64

Try an expansion pack, or try changing the save battery in your cartridge if there is one.

Re: supermario 64

I regret to say this, but it sounds more like you have bad sectors on the memory inside the cartridge. It COULD be something else buy I highly doubt it. About the only way to go is to search local homebrew game store, amazon, or ebay. But the games will cost more than you expect if you buy them online. Maybe you have a friend with one you could buy? But make sure to test it just incase there is some odd little flaw with the system itself.

Goldeneye deleted all it's memory randomly

Hello, n64 cartridges are outdated for that reason exactly. They have a small space to save game info. A quick off and back on is actually the way you reset the memory. Say you bought someone else's n64 and each game you loaded had saved info on it. Powering off and then turning it back on, would erase that data and allow you to start your own game. Once your 64 went instantly off, it reset/erased the saved info. Unfortunately there is nothing I know of to get it back. Sorry. Hope this helps though.

How do you erase memory from the memory pak

  • Plug an N64 controller into the "Player 1" port on the Nintendo 64.
  • 2 Place the N64 Controller Pack into the memory card slot on the Nintendo 64 controller.
  • 3 Insert a Nintendo 64 game into the cartridge slot on the N64.
  • 4 Hold down "Start" on the N64 controller.
  • 5 Turn the Nintendo 64 on via the "Power" switch on the device. After the console loads, the Controller Pack menu will appear on the screen.
  • 6 Release the "Start" button on the N64 controller.
  • 7 Browse through the saves listed, using the N64 controller's directional pad.
  • 8 Highlight the game you want to erase.
  • 9 Select the "Delete" option. The pages that were occupied by the game save will be erased from the Controller Pack.
  • 10 Repeat Steps 7 though 9 until you're finished erasing pages on the Controller Pak. Restart the N64 if you wish to play the game that was inserted into the device, or turn the Nintendo 64 off if you are done using the console.

Hi whilst playing fifa 10 on my ps3 i turned it off and it didn't say it was autosaving, it deleted that file and now i can't save a new file on my fifa 10 and on viewing save files on the system it says...

there might be no space on the memory card, Take the game out and load up the playstation then if the page is full then you have no room left, it happend to me. After that all you have got to do is delete some stuff, if you dont want to then buy another memory card and put it in slot 2.

    Kirby 64 won't hold a save file

The battery inside the game pak has died, thus, it can no longer hold a save.
Buy a special screwdriver for n64 Game Paks. Unscrew the casing, then find the battery inside the Pak. Take it (the battery) to any store that sells watches, then ask for a replacement for that battery. Plug the batery (+ side facing you) in the Pak, then screw it back together.

Your game should now save. :)

My N64 game keeps erasing the memory

Seems like the internal save battery died, preventing any saved files from lasting after the console has been turned off. You can either open up the cart and replace the battery or just purchase another cart to replace the one that isn't saving.
