I have a Maytag electric dryer model, #MDE7600 bought in 2000. It no longer heats up but the sensor still blinks when it's on the mostly damp part of the cycles. Is it worth fixing? Do fuses need to be replaced and if so, where are they located and is it possible for me to repair it?

Check the terminal block and make sure you're getting 220. If you only get 110, the dryer will run but without heat.

it should be located it a small trap door around the drum either on the side , inside , or on the bottom. to replace it you must remove the screws the hold it in place slide it out remove the wiring and then slide the new one in screw it back in and plug the wires back on it. please make sure during this process the dryer is unpluged from the wall plug. hope it works out for you .
