I have bought a samsung ES25 from a sechondhand store and it doesnt have a installation disk with it i have a personal computor so im unable to use the SD card how do i get a installation disk?

Hi Renae,
First, you need to know your computers Operating System[Windows 7,Windows Vista,Windows XP etc].Since the camera's drivers are notyet available on the Samsung Support sites for downloads, you may have to purchase the installation disks from their outlets.Just remember your Operating System so they can provide you with the corresponding drivers. Here's the camera's user guide for detailed instructions on operations.

Hope this helps.
Thanks alot for the purchase!

I have windows vista and am unable to install software for my dau

The software was written for windows XP or vista, so it will not work for you. Heres what you can do to get the photos on the computer. Get a card reader, take out the media card and use the card reader to download the images.

Adobe has a program that you can use to edit your photos. Here's a link

Installation of Nikon view software in laptop having windows vista

hi there
the software is not compatible with vista and as the camera is around 5 years old, i doubt nikon will release a patch for it. that said you don't need that software anyway, just plug your camera in via the usb lead switch it on , click on my computer, find your camera, click on it and copy the pictures to where you want. you can then use virtualy any software to view and edit them. if you go to the freesoftware4all website they have some usefull free programmes you could use.
hope this helps

I plugged the camera into my Vista basic machine and it recognized it as an external drive. You don't need to install the CD- prolly just a crappy graphics program.

Unable to install driver on my new computer

The best thing to do would be to contact the manufacturer of said camera and ask if they have a "Driver" thats written for Vista. Otherwise the only shot ya got is to install the software in "Compatibility Mode for XP" Vista and drivers is a nightmare for us engineers I have many, many customers that curse the day the switched to Vista.. and frequently they have ended up sourcing all NEW gear so it would work with Vista, hey maybe that all part of the Ahem "Plan"? Lol..
