Hi!
You need to run a Head Cleaning cycle so printer can get rid of the old ink from your previous cartridge. Try running it from maintenance for at least twice or try printing pictures in between cleaning cycles.
Hope this helps.
I own a PictureMate Epson personal photo lab. It has been sitting on my desk for over 1 year with the message Error:Paper is jammed in the printer. Remove the jammed paper, then press (OK). I have done this, many times, I have talked to a "solution Person" and unfortunately they have told me it can't be fixed. I am just warning anyone else, not to buy this product. I have printed less than 100 pictures and it now doesn't work anymore. Just DON'T BUY THIS EPSON PRODUCT
try to set the resolution of your epson, to picture quality or something like that.also you have to identify if the picture you are printing is same or big as the papar you are using, its possible that is in the picture it self.hope it help, :)
Q:Does PictureMate have a factory reset button? A:Yes, you can reset the print settings to their original, default values. Press and hold down the Cancel button for 3 seconds. When the message to reset the printer to default settings appears, press OK to reset the print settings.
Note: This reset does not affect LCD contrast, Print Confirmation, or PictureMate Print Wizard settings.
I had the same error and I could find no information on what it was or how to fix it so I decided to go trial and error. What I found is that this relates to the print head not being able to completely pass from the left to right side during startup. I had a plastic carriage on the one side that was stuck in a position that stop the carriage from make the complete run from side to side. When I forced the plastic carriage down and it clicked into place the error stopped and the printer started up normally with no codes. If anything is causing the print head to not travel completely from left to right during startup, this will probable cause the code. It will be hard to see if the print head is being obstructed if you don't remove the sides. I hope this helps.
Try running a head cleaning cycle from the maintenance menu, then print a nozzle check. try to run 3 head cleaning cycles then try printing again
. If all fails call epson for replacement.
