The receiver will not stay on. Has a flashing

Most receivers identify the two buttons inside the user's manual, while some older Denon receivers require you contact Denon for the right button combination. For example, some Denon models require the "Standard" and "DSP Simulation" buttons to be pressed simultaneously.

what do i do when my DENON AVR-1506 turns on then flashes red and turns off?

ok my denon avr 1804 was jamming and it shut off on standby red light flashing comes on then goes back off what is wrong ?????

replace all the electrolytic capacitors in the power supply. i had the exact same problem with mine and once i replaced the capacitors it powered up and stayed on and worked perfect.
these capacitors tend to fail as they're of poor quality.
this fault is very common on denon receivers, especially the later models.
