I have a magic chef model ye205k electric clothes drier, which has been a really good appliance. my wife started it earlier today, and walked away. about 10 minutes later, she noticed that the drier was not running anymore. the drier had stopped, and will not restart. i checked the circuit breaker, and it is not blown. can you help me diagnose this problem? i have removed the top, and front. i bypassed the door safety switch, but to no avail. what is my next move?

if you said stop running id assume that there is no power?? even with good electrical input..
for that instance, better check.charred cables.. if not there maybe a problem with timer itself..
when your oven was working did it "click" to start? or do you have a glow bar style ignitor. if yo u have a glow bar ignitor chances are thats the issue. if your oven would click to light then there might be a few issues on that but just like you top burners you should be able to light the oven with a long match and or barbecue lighter
Unplug the range. Wait a few minutes, then plug the unit back in.
