Question about Panasonic Toughbook 48 Notebook
I have been trying to get my laptop to get past the windows boot screen for a few, well about 10 hours. I have on line classes that I an taking and I had to load a windows service pack #2 on my Tough book. The installation looked like it was going well until the laptop shut down to restart. Now I can not get it to even go back to when it was working before I tried to install the service pack. I also installed Linksys wireless-G earlier, I had the wireless working in about 2 hours, I had a problem with my home computer not wanting to synchronize with my laptop(NORTON). How do I get my laptop (Panasonic Tough book CF-48) to start back at the point before I tried to install the Windows Service Pack 2?
Most Laptops have custom or specific drivers for display audio etc that don't come with windows. You would need to go to the Panasonic website and download them.
I did a quick google and found this.....
try there and download all drivers for your model and stick them on a memory stick if you have one or burn them to a CD.

Try hitting F8 right when Windows starts up. You will get a text menu with options. Try "last known good configuration" and see if that helps. If it doesn't you may be able to get it working by reinstalling XP and choosing "Repair",which will try and replace all your windows files with the original ones.
If that doesnt work then you will have to reload XP from scratch. If you have to do that then install service pack 2 before any other software or drivers.
