My ds lite d pad won't work!!!

I would suggest to go to Fred Meyer or an equivalant store and go to the electronics section. Find a new DS Lite battery.

well, first you should see if it needs charging. Then turn on the ds and touch the little ds on the bottom of the screen. Go to the calibrate or the thing that is on the right side of the person. Try thr test and dont stop it until its over. Try touching the screen again but if that doesnt work call nintendo which the number is in the manual or find it at www.nintendo.com. See if that works.

A Wifi router and microphone as nothing to do with eachother.
You have a defective external headphone assembly (the connector on the front of the DS lite where you can insert a headset).

It must be replaced

Sounds to me like you have spilt a drink or somethink over it or maybe even droped it? you can get a replacment of ebay, but if its still in warrenty then you can send it back, but if its caused by water of a dropping of the item then you might be charged to fix it

well try to find DS parts in EBAY...

and don´t try to power the DS with a broken display ´cause it can short-circuit another part of your DS...and make things go Bad...

Sell it for spare parts is the only thing you can do. Water makes the DS Lite scrap. All effort to repair it will be hopeless

Maybe it has a lot of dirt in it. The pad could of got messed with and it wont work no more.

on the top right hand side of the screen just under the front there are four or five contact pads this is where the touch screen get the info from the touch screen to the ds itself if you have taken the ds apart maybe the pads are slightly out of line this can be fixed by applying light pressure to the pads to make them stick down and get a proper contact

if you can take it apart and clean it. something may have gotten stuck in the d pad. the worst thing is that you will have to send it in to fix it.
