what o/s are you useing?

When the OS is windows and you cannot open the cd you might want to download the software from the linksys website.

You can always set up the router from a computer connected to the wired lan. Set up you computer to automaticly get a ip address and connect it to one of the lan ports on the back of the linksys. Then
enter http://192.168.1.1 in a browser and you're in the setup/administration pages of the router. The default login is no user name and password is admin.
