Question about Apple iPod MP3 Player

1 Answer

My mp3 players has a white screen

This is a knockoff Ipod. When turned on music played now nothing. Do you have to reformat? This mp3 player is only about a month old. It was working earlier, I don't know if it got jostled in my sons bag, but now it doesn't do anything. When plugged into the computer the screen still is just white. Is there anyway to
fix this?

White screen !!

Completely white? No icons or "sad" ipod symbol?

Static buildup will make the ipod screen pale white/grey. If it were a black screen, I'd say update and reformat but static kills the unit.

I cant see the words nmy hp appe ipod screen!

I have had this problem recently myself and would like you to know that it is possible to fix. The white screen error or otherwise known as "white screen of death" is caused by the lcd color screen on the ipod itself. That is why its functions still work but the screen does not. Once you replace the color screen it will be as good as new.

Try the Five R's suggested by your user's manual - you can get the manual from Apple's website if you have lost it:
