Question about Datamax M-4208 Thermal Label Printer
I'm trying to install a wireless card on my datamax printer. I've powered the printer off. Inserted the wireless card. Then gone to menue and NIC Adapter and it states that the NIC is not installed. I've entered the IP address, submask, gateway, and change all the setting the install guide gives me to change however, the printer still does not see the NIC. I've powered it on and off and hit the reset on the NIC. Nothing works
I have seen quite a few bad nic cards from Datamax, and that may be the problem.
If you can set the card from the printer, then it is seeing the card as it reads directly to the processor when inserted. But the card can still be bad if you cannot ping from the outside.
