How do I get color pics with my Fuji digital camera it only seems to do black and white how do I reset it to color

All cameras have a setting where you can play with the colors that the picture will be captured in.
Some offer the basic, color, B&W, sepia (reddish). Others, and I am willing to guess your Fuji since these cameras generally offer more settings.
check your manual and it can guide you on bringing those settings back to the normal colors.
Once you do find it, play with it so you will remember the setting location and even be able to enjoy some of the other options!
My preference is to always take pictures in color and modify with a software. Remember you can make a colored picture into other options, harder to make a B&W into color or other.

Color problem

try to see if a filter is activated like magenta ...look in the menu if there is a reset settings feature...Usually it is in the main menu..one that reset it to the factory settings ..there can not be any other thing but something from the settings activated..(look for color filters) another thing to look for is if there are modes on it that change manually and can not be reset on digital level....I mean switches and stuff..or turning buttons for modes..try to put them in normal node..

Check if the issue happens previously captured images only or the newer ones. This is confirm if the issue is not with the memory stick.
You can also capture the images in the Internal memory by removing the memory stick.
To reset the camera, please select Settings, Setup 1, Initialize. Contact me for further assistance

Sony Cybershot question

Hello: on the backside (screenside) of the camera, on lower right hand corner there is a hole for the reset button. Use a paper clip to push in to reset the camera back to ALL factory original settings. You will need to manually reset date, time, etc.

Check the color/light settings on your camera, and reset it to auto to get it back to normal. Changing this setting to tungsten or fluorescent forces your color to shift, but is clearly not what you want at this point.
