The unit should come w/a mini cd of the current driver. if not, drivers are available for download online. windows 2000 and xp will automatically recognize 'new hardware' when you connect the unit to your computer's usb port. look for usb icon in the sys tray (lower right corner of your desktop) it shows that the unit has been found.
1. open 'my computer' and look for, nost likely, (E) drive. that is the delstar unit. leave the window open and adjust the window size to long and narrow.
2. open 'my documents' scroll to 'my music' or go to where ever your music files are stored. leave the window open and adjust the window size so that your two open windows are side by side.
3. simply right click a song file (.mp3), select 'copy.'
4. move your cursor to the (E) drive window. right click in the open area and click 'paste.'
-- simple as that!
