Question about Kenmore 44102 Front Load Washer
Do these washers have a water level sensor? my basement floor was flooded after i put a load in this morning and i noticed that the dial had not moved past 'short' with respect to dialing in the length of the cycle. i put another load in and sat and watched the machine and it kept filling the water to a level above the top of the window on the front. i stopped it and tried to nudge the dial to where the drum would begin to agitate but it would not, i eventually spun the water out. it seems as if there is a water level sensor that is not functioning properly.
Plug off the wall. Open up behind, you will find a thin tube going from the pump area to the control point. This is the water level tube; untie this tube from above & blow into it, it should be free, if not free remove the blockage, see that it is not twisted, insert carefully. Or replace. This shd fix your water level problem.
