I have printed both from the CLI and the GUI; no difference. I thought maybe the paper ... http://www.openprinting.org/printer/Kyocera/Kyocera-FS-920 .... Also it seems the CD supplied drivers won't solve your problem. .... And NO WD-40 on plastics, better take silicone spray in a very light dose. ...

Kyocera and Copystar models are the same just replace KM with CS.

try this tutorial or this one and keep one thing in mind there is a generic print driver that mac can install this often works just as good as the one from the manufacturer
