Msi k9n2 don't recognice, my cd/dvd rom

have you try disconnecting your dvd rom to your cpu and connect it again? have yo check your dvd cable that connects to your cpu mother board? this are the solution to escalate the problem thanks.

It's cheaper to buy a new CD/DVD reader/writer than it is to hire a professional technician to try to repair an old CD-ROM.

i had the same problems so i updated the firmware for the cd/dvd drive and now its working perfectly

if you get a paper clip or needle, you can insert it in the little hole on the left on the dvd rom and this will eject the cd from inside .

It sounds like your system may be confusing your dvd drive and somehow including it in the raid array or something.

Does it see it without the raid setup?
