Question about Lexmark X4500 MFP Flatbed Scanner
I bought an X4500 from a salvage yard - it has the scanner on top with the 630 B/W Laser and 5 paper trays plus the duplex unit. It prints just fine from the network. Copies locally as well. The problem is the remote scan to one of the networked systems. I called Lexmark, explained in the problem detail "I need to be able to reset the Administrators password to a factory default", that way I can build scanner accounts for any user on my net. So far, no one at Lexmark has a clue as to what I'm talking about. I need a person from the field service support level to just tell me what they would do if a printer came back off lease and they had to turn it around to another account. HELP!
