My ps3 fell on the stairs and is broken how do i fix it

If its broken the hardware so you must reach to nearest service center or PS3 repair shop. But if you like to fix it yourself then youtube videos will help you.

Your relief was short lived. Though the fall did not damage the player itself it appears to have damaged the power supply side of the unit. Perhaps the charging socket got a direct hit and has broken internally. I think you will have to take this to a repair shop as it could need some parts.

Yes, I've seen this happen twice, similarly. When enough shock has been applied to a phone, such as your case, the screen is very susceptable to damage and will need to be repaired or replaced. There's nothing you can do with expertise or spare parts unfortunately, you may even want to look at a new phone if the warranty is out on the phone. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
