How do you stop the clock ticking?

You could turn off the oven at the isolator switch. Turn it on again when you need to use it.

The time really only needs to be accurate when you make use of features like a delayed start when baking bread, or to stop baking meringues and let them cool slowly in the oven.

Just be sure to check that the Auto/Manual switch is set to manual unless you're doing the above type of baking.

How do I turn off the delay timer? When I set it up, the timer automatically sets it on a 3 hour delay. I have moved the up & down arrows but it won't set at 00:00 unless I unplug it. Then I set...

No offense intended but you need to step away and read the instruction manual step-by-step. One point I can make: The three hours you're seeing in the display when you first plug the unit in are simply telling you how long the default white bread mode is going to take to complete. It's merely a counter that counts down so at any time you glance over at the machine you'll know how much longer it's going to be before the bread is finished. The digital display has NOTHING to do with the delay timer until you start pressing delay timer arrows.

Hope this helps!

To Program Oven for a Delayed Start Time and to Shut-Off Automatically 1. Be sure that the clock shows the correct time of day. 2. Place the food in the oven. 3. Push "Bake Time". Delay-bake timer not working

Hi,
I have given you the instructions for the timer for the B2200 and B2250 models. I hope this answers your question. I have also included a link to the manual in case you don't have one.

Carol.

6. Timer Buttons
Press these buttons to set the time for delay bake (up to 13-hour
delay). For example, you can time your bread to be ready for
dinner or when you wake up in the morning. Set it by selecting
how much time you want to pass before the bread is completed.
For example, if it is 8:00 p.m. and you want the bread to be ready
at 7:00 a.m., set it for 11 hours.
You can also use these buttons to adjust the time of the cycle.
They adjust up or down in 10-minute increments. Changes must
be made before the unit begins operation.

Broil turns ON when pressing BAKE button on RBS275PD Whirlppol oven

Our Whirlpool oven just started doing the same thing!!!! The Delay Start Time (setting it for one minute ahead) and then Start works just fine.  But we fried the tops of three loaves of homemade bread!!!!
Is Whirlpool just a bad brand for ovens?

I need to disable my ovens auto shut off

The control is automatically set to turn off the oven after 12 hours baking or 3 hours broiling should you forget and leave the oven on. If you want to remvoe this feature do the following steps: 1. Press and hold, at the same time, the BAKE and BROIL buttons for 3 seconds, until the display shows "SF". 2. Press the DELAY START TIME button. The display shows "12Shdn" for 12 hour shut off. Press the DELAY START TIME button again. The display will show "no Shdn" for no shut off. 3. Press the START button.
