First if phone is lock dial *228 and then
press 1. That reset your code for last four digit of your cell # (phone will reset ,no any data will be lost) If you do not know a cell # and phone is still
lock then press . #4357*4357.and you can see phone number that's
your lock code last four digit... That's for LG VX8500 (VERIZON)
Here's good news and bad news. The good news is that you might
well have forgotten that the default password on the phone is 00000000 (that's
eight zeroes). The bad news is that if you've changed it to something else and
that's what you've forgotten, you might well need to take the phone in to a
service center to have them help you break it back open
hi richardsnead dial *22890 and this will reset the lock code to the last four digitals of your phone number. Also you can take it to the nearest corporate verizon store so they can get your lock code for the phone. Hope this helps
the lock code is originally set at the last four digits of your cell phone number. if this does not work, and you do not remember changing the code, then you can reset the phone by dialing
*22899 and press send... wait for the programming to go through, and then the lock code will be the last four of your cell phone
if your phone does not allow you to dial out (only to 911 in locked status) then you will have to take it to verizon wireless where they can connect it to the PST machine and find the lock code from the phone (however, most people who work at verizon wireless do not know how to do this because they are too busy looking through pictures and sexually harassing people, so good luck)
okay you need to type the last four digits of you phone number which was the original code upon purchasing the phone, then press the pound button right after. type the four dgits and then immediently the pound sign. you might have to try it a couple of times before you get it. this is how many people are able to use locked phones that are stolen. my friend who works at a verizon fios taught me this when i locked and forgot my passcode.
