Question about Dell (0N5370) for Inspiron 5160 (64MB) (64 MB) Graphic Card
I set my computer on stand-by mode like I usually do and the next morning it was completely off. When I went to try and turn it on by pressing the power button, the three lights in the front flashed but nothing started to power up. I disconnected and reconnected the power supply and the three lights flashed again but that's it.
What happened? How do I fix it? Thanks for any and all help!!
That model is known for this problem and Dell is aware of it. I believe they will replace your motherboard and AC adapter free of charge. Tell them your problem with the lights, and that motherboard is most likely not getting the powere it needs.
Below is the information to contact them; they are open 24/7. The express code they are referring to is a sticker that is taped to the laptop. My personal experience with them is good, they usually have someone drive out or come by within the same day or next day and replace the hardware with a smile.
