I recently bought one of the McCulloch MC1860s from Allbrands. I would like to know why they are being discontinued? What is the problem with them?

I wanted to start a service business with them overseas...and wanted to know where I could get a model that accepts 220v.?

What is going on with this product? I am concerned because I wanted to buy more of them.

I have an excellent vacuum model C 2006 G & I can not find filters for it. Any help appreciated. Can't seem to finally a company.

Model numbers are very helpful when accompanied with a Manufacturers name- Do you have a manufacturers name? Most all vacuums are made in China unfortunately and distributors by the machine complete in huge quantities but offer no warranty support or replacement parts. I await your reply Nancy

Is there a source to find out how to use the attachments for the McCulloch steamer?

Hi winnons2...

The only thing I could find on McCulloch is a phone number.
I am sure once you reach this number they would be able to help you farther.
To receive a user manual or parts.
You need to call 1-800-521-8559, ask for guidance to help with obtaining a USER manual and it will tell you where the parts go and what their name is and what you will use is for.
Ask for a PDF Manual, you will need the model number of the Steam Vacuum
They will email it to you for free

You may have burnt up the motor field when it was plugged into a 220V power source. But there are drop down transformers you can get to reduce the voltage form 210 to 110. AS Radio Shack or similar store would have them.
