I don't know how the entries are doubled there is no way that can happen i am sorry i can't answer or that but to make entries in alphabetical order you need to go to phonebook click the option button (middle) then the second last option is setup choose it and there in the second option Sort by : Choose name and your problem is solved

Address Book entries that are desired to be shown or hidden as Private Entry must be saved in the SIM. Saving to phone only does not offer the option.

Razor v3 text message

Can recieve but can't txt, maybe your setting in network set-up
is in 850/1900 or 900/1800
or Your network set-up Type' is in Manual'
or your Speed' is in Medium.

try to Set your Network Set-up in this set Up
Band: Automatic
Type: Automatic
Speed: Continious

if nothing happens try to master Clear and master Reset your phone.
Note: If you Perform Master Clear that Action will Clear Alldownloaded media, phonebook entries, and date book entries.

Phone book doesnt stay open motorola V3

Press 1 and then # - This will bring up the speed dial info. Scroll through the numbers until you find the one without a name or number and then delete it.

Tada! The phone book will now open again.

If you have the v3xx, it has speech recognition built in, you just press the voice dial key on the right side of the phone and say "name dial", then say the name of the address book entry you want to dial. The speech recognition matches up with your address book entries and repeats the name back to you. If you have multiple entries, it asks "which one". It's very cool and mine works very well. I was going through the same frustration you mention, looking for a way to add a "voice tag" to an address book entry like my old phone, but this is way cooler! Hope this is the fix for yours as well, good luck!

Deleting phone book entries

Hi cburke. Had this same problem. go to the phonebook, scroll to the number you want to delete and then press menu. it will take you to the edit screen then select delete, or whatever you want to do with the number. Simple really, but instructions with this phone are awful.
