Activate windows screen and then says my windows is activated

If it is a Windows Machine.....
Hit the windows Key on the keyboard and type Activation and you will see Activate Windows. Click the Activate Windows and follow the on screen instructions. I hope this helps.

It depends on your operating system. On Windows Vista or 7 you will get the 'User Account Control' log in screen asking for a password. Leave the password area blank and hit 'Yes'. If you are getting a different password screen, please discribe it.

You may need to lower the resolution to play those old games.

1.Right-click an empty area of the desktop, and then click Properties.
2. In the Display Properties dialog box, click the Settings tab.
3.Drag the Screen resolution slider to the left to decrease the resolution of your monitor
4.Click Apply to have the new resolution take effect.
5.Click OK.

Run your game, keep change until it is good

You can avoid this prompt by shutting the activation service down.

Click Start
Run
type msconfig and then hit enter
on the startup tab, locate Sonic in the list and uncheck it
apply changes and restart
upon restarting a prompt will open saying you have made changes
click OK

NOTE: If this is Windows Vista, you will just type msconfig in the Start Search box from the Windows Bubble or Start Menu.

Is the Nero 9 your using been purchased legally?
Generally, once you hit the activate button it will activate. When I bought my Nero 9 it asked me activate several times on different Nero programs i was using. But, once you hit activate you wont need to hit it again for that particular tool.

Make sure your firewall isn't blocking the connection, 'ADD' Nero as a trusted program if your using a external firewall other than the windows basic.

Somehow you have activated the startup sequence request in the msconfig utility. Start up your laptop, press F8 till you come to the boot sequence options menu, select Safe Mode, hit ENTER wait, then when in safe mode, a warning wndow appears just informing you that you have started in Safe Mode ... bla bla bla... Click OK. Then press start button, go to Run.. and in the dialogue box type msconfig and hit ENTER. In the msconfig utility window check on the dot next to Normal Startup - Loda all device drivers & services. Click apply & Ok then Restart your unit. I think this should solve your problem.
