Question about Keurig B50 Coffee Maker

Screen says "descale"

Can you advise? Please let me know what I need to do?

I also got the "descale" sign and ran several tanks of vinegar through as the owner's manual suggested. After about 1 day I got the "descale" sign again and now my Keurig is not pouring the proper amount of water through. I grind my own coffee and use the filter that is made for the Keurig. Could this be part of the problem, or is it something else? Thanks

I have the same issue happening with my B50. Second one to have this issue. I ran white vinegar, dezcal, goo-off descaler, etc. No matter what I do it only seems to solve the issue for days at a time at most. This is the reason Keurig replaced the original under warranty. No matter what they had me try, nothing solved the problem for the long haul.

Hi,
Just was checking out the issue on the manuf. website and when the screen says descale your lines are clogged, Buy Dezcal either over the web or from Green Mountain $2.95 for 6 packs. Manufacturer recommends that you descale the lines every 6 months. Had my B60 for 2 years and it just now is acting up.

Hello , I got a present of a Saeco Royal Professional without an instruction booklet . The machine tells me it needs a descale . Can you please advise as to how . Many thanks , Sean Kavanagh

Hi
Auto descale: To automatically descale your machine, press the scoop button and hold it down until you enter the menu. Use the arrows on the left to scroll down until you come to "Descale". Press enter and the machine will enter the mode to descale your machine. The process takes about 45 minutes. You don't have to do a thing except mix a full water tank with descaling solution and have a container under the steam wand when your start. If you have a cappuccinonatori on your machine you will need two containers. To start the descaling process simply turn the steam knob. When the process is over your machine will say "descale finished". Remove your water tank and rinse it out. Refill it with fresh water. Replace on the machine and close the steam knob then open it again to rinse your machine. When its done exit the descale mode and go to the "Reset descale" just under it and enter. Choose "Yes" and push the enter button to accept. It will tell you when it needs to be descaled again.
If you want to make your machine last a long time, go to the water hardness in the menu and change your water hardness to the #4 and always push the enter button if you want to make your changes permanent. If you don't, no changes will be made and it will still be the same when you exit.

Hi, ive lost my instructions and need to descale my iron. could you please advise me how to do it many thanks jo

CDR, Scale Away, you can buy at the hardware. It will remove the deposits. After you get it descaled you need to use Distilled water that you buy at the grocery store in it. This will avoid it scaling again.
Vinegar and water, Citric Acid crystals, Usual dose 1 teaspoon per 200ml water works

Pour it in just like water and let it steam out, then repeat with water, steaming out over a rag, sheet or something.

How much decalcifier do I use. Doesn't say on the bottle. Thanks

Hi Use 1 oz. for every 32oz of water. There is a program in your machine for descaling. Select it and open knob in front once you have the powder disolved. When you have finished go to the menu that says "reset descale" and choose "yes". Then set your water hardness in your menu to 4, and your machine will tell you when it needs to be descaled again.

After performing a descaling cycle, the descaling light still flashes, what is wrong?

The manual states that after you descale, you have to hold down the hot water button for 6 seconds, that will turn it off and "reset the timer" till the next time it needs to descale.
