HAVING TROUBLE THREADING THE BABYLOCKER AND HAVE NO PICTURE ON THE INSIDE COVER

  • Bimble26 Jun 23, 2008

I have a mini 3 thread Baby overlocker 850, No. 310629 (doesn't say 'Baby Lock' just 'Baby', made in Japan). It has the colour coded chart but I'm still having difficulty with end stages of threading. My machine won't go but tries to. It does work normally as I managed to get it working the other day. I think it is jammed and think it's the threading. Please help :(

I need to know how to thread a brother lock 530 overlocker

How to thread brother lock 530 Brother Sewing Machines

Follow the instructions exactly. Each thread needs to threaded in the order stated in the manual. Threading out of order will guarantee failure. Also, whenever a thread breaks or comes unthreaded during use, it is very difficult to rethread that one thread and be successful. If it doesn't work the first time, just bite the bullet (save yourself some frustration) and rethread all the threads from the beginning.

NOTE: ALWAYS THREAD with the presser foot in the raised position! When threading through the tension disks, give each thread an extra little tug to make sure it is seated completely.

Be sure to thread the machine "exactly" as instructed. The threads have to be threaded in a particular order and if not followed, the machine will not work properly!

Help plse, after threading it dont make the overlocking stitches. New machine, help with right way to thread machine and the smaller detail of threading.

Your machine is either not threaded correctly, or the individual threads have not been threaded in order. Be sure to ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot when threading the machine. You must follow the instructions exactly or the machine will most likely never work properly. Can you at least get a training class on your machine? A class is indispensable, especially when it comes to using a serger.

Even if it is not the same model, these instructions may be helpful.

How to thread the overlocker My lock 134

Look in the instruction book, or on the threading diagram printed on the machine. You will see it when you open the panel on the right (the door that swings down when you thread the serger).

Although overlocker is correctly threaded it does not form a chain

here's a link for a manual

try changing the needles & see if that helps the machine to form
a proper stitch, if it doens't then it's possible that the machine
could be out of time & needs to be checked at a sewing machine
