case is, a circuit blew in the screen, phone needs to be replaced. My phone's screen blacked out and touching certain buttons makes it a brighter black lol... anyway... i had an expert look at it. She told me that my phone simply died and it would be a whole lot stressless for me to just get a new phone. It was either that or switch out most of the circutry(expensive).

I am also having this issue! The screen is really dim and if you touch the right lower corner of the sceen it lights up long enough to see if you have missed calls etc. I thought it was maybe the battery because I have had to charge it alot lately. I went and purchased a new battery that is not the issue.
