80gb ipod make a clock noise

Hi everybody,
I bought the 80gb ipod and after six months of use I left for 5 days without charging it. So when I plugged it to the PC it makes a strange noise like a clock and first shows for a few minutes the apple logo and then an internet address for support. I changed the battery but makes the same thing. HELP because its a pity.

80GB video ipod is not turning on.instead the apple symbol blinks

Connect the ipod to your computer and let it sit for about fifteen minutes. Then it should show up in your computer and under itunes. Usually, if your ipod dies completely, when you try to charge it using a wall or car charger, it will do that, just flashing the apple logo and going back off. Leaving it plugged up to the computer will allow the battery to charge just enough so that it can sync with itunes. While it is plugged into the computer and charging, it should say something like, battery very low, charging. It should work after letting it sit plugged up to the computer.

The ipod nano 4th generation will not display anything nor can music be heard. Just bought six hours ago. Fully charged and can play music loaded on ipod through computer but no display just blank screen...

This happened to me. For some reason, these ipods go into a deep sleep sometimes. Make sure that the hold switch it is off. Try holding down the menu button until it comes on. If it doesn't come on with that try holding down the select (middle) button until it starts up.
