Question about Nintendo DS Console
Turn in the theft to the police. They check serial numbers from pawn shops. Go luck thought, they really don't care.

It not possible for a customer to track a stolen or lost Nintendo DS or DS lite.
It may be possible for nintendo itself to track a stolen unit via the item serial, in the case the new owner try to register the unit in their web site, or send the unit to repair, or via the mac address only in the case the new owner log into a nintendo wifi online internet game server.
Though personally never heard about nintendo doing that to none of their products and that may be because they don't care about units that were stolen or changed owner.
