I have a Sandisk Sansa Clip+ and cannot seem to update the firmware. The ''firmware updater'' doesn't find any updates but I see from other users that they are using newer versions. I've tried doint it manually but am not having any luck. I'm using V01.01.05A

What you need to do is update your Windows Media Player. I believe it has to be WMP10 and higher. Let me know if that works. Oh and you also need at least Windows XP Service Pack 2. so update your windows software

You don't need the small cd that came with the Sansa Clip.
Go to the website, clik on support
Clik on Sansa Clip
If you installed the updater when you first got it.. the updater will be located in your program folders Sandisk/Updater.
The little CD was for installing the Rhapsody download software if I remember right.
You can update the firmware on your clip either by using the updater or doing manually.. all the instructions are on the support site.
Good luck!
