Wireless prob I'm try to find my printer via my wireless (BT) hub my laptop is connected via wireless and my printer is connected via a yellow network cable I managed to set it up before but had to reset my system due to a virus and now cannot remember what I did.

Bluetooth (BT) is not compatible with WiFi. There is no way to do that, and it must be done with or thru a PC, or laptop. The USB ports on wireless routers are for network storage, and/or network access to printers. Hope this helps

yes, you can. I have my printer connect to my hub and my desktop and I can print from my laptop wirelessly.
You will need your all in one connected via a printer or USB cable to a computer AND also connected to your hub. Then, go to the computer that is connected through a cable to the all in one. Your all in one should have some way to configure its IP address. I have my printer configured as 192.168.1.4 and it's plugged into the 4th port of my hub. Check if this works.

your router may have incorect connection settings. what i mean is that your router may have security on that rejects connecting to adapter. check if the xbox can connect to the internet via ethernet cable. this will tell for sure if the 1 the adapter cannot read the signal or 2 the adapter is not able read any signals. to test if its the adapter, try searching for other signals.if you find any other signal it means your router. is rejecting to send the signal to the xbox.

Try turning your laptop off. It could be that your are running out of room for your wireless connection.

First thing, Does your printer have a wireless facility built in? If not it has to be connected to the hub with ethernet.
Normally setting up a wireless printer involves using cables until the set-up is complete. It's nothing to do with the router but all to do with the printer.
Best thing is to go through the manual.

have you typed the key exactly? viz uppercase/lowercase. The switch(hub) might have MAC address filtering on. also check if the switch(hub) has a DHCP running, which allocates IP addresses, if not you need to set your wireless connections IP address within the same range as the switch. If all else fails attempt to connect the switch via a utp network cable which should have been suplied with the switch(hub) so you can access the switch and make the necessary changes... email me on djtracer@vodamail.co.za should you need more info.

If the printer does not have a built-in network card/print server then there is a couple of ways to do this.
If you have a desktop computer connected to the wireless router with a LAN cable, then connect the printer to the desktop computer and make this printer a shared printer on your network. This means that the desktop computer and printer needs to be on when you want to print from the laptop.
The other way is to purchase a print server, connect the printer to the print server and connect the print server with a LAN cable to the Wireless router.
If you don't have sufficient network ports on the wireless router then you need to purchase a hub. Then connect the hub and wireless router with a LAN cable and then the print server to the hub and other computers to the hub.
Setting up the wireless printing will depend upon which method you want to adopt and I can advise you when further when you are ready.

If you have a home network, try a Print Server with parallel port. You will connect the printer to the print server via parallel, and the print server to a network hub/switch/router (any of the listed) via a network cable, and the computer to the hub/switch/router via network cable or wireless.

Cost should be around $20 - $60 depending on make/model.
