Question about Televison & Video
I have a Nexxtech RF Modulator that is used to connect my DVD player to my older Sears TV. I just had Star Choice Satellite installed and unfortunately the tech disconnected everything. Now I have no idea how to hook up my RF Modulator and my DVD player again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Sherrie
The RF modulator probably had a red, white, yellow trio of RCA jacks (A/V jacks), a coax jack marked "antenna" and another coax jack marked "TV"
Putting the DVD output to the A/V jacks allowed it to play out to the TV, which couldn't otherwise accept the DVD player.
The satellite box probably has coax and a/v jacks as output. Use the coax as output to the antenna input of the RF modulator, and the A/V jacks of the DVD player to the A/V jacks of the RF modulator. Hopefully the modulator allows the A/V jacks to have priority over the coax input, so that when the DVD plays it "wins"
