my apple laptop screen wont turn on or any of the other lights,And the sound comes on when I turn it on.

you likely have a bad inverter lamp driver.
test this by shinning a light on the screen at an angle and you should see the desktop icons.
you will find the inverters for sale on ebay for your model.
