Xerox printing problem

Document center 470ST of Xerox is not working it requests to open the front door and getout the fuser module and close the door again and it didnt work yet what should i do ???

Is it asking for the fuser module to be replaced? The fusers have a fuse or a chip in them that turns them off after a certain number of impressions.

Ask Xerox. They may be able to supply you with a manual or diagram. Next time you may be better asking in the printer section.

I have a printer phaser 8500DN that says close the front cover even though the cover is closed

open ypur back end of your printer and check fuser asembly.
reattach it.
then restart printer

HP 4215xi all in one, continues to give the error paper jam, there is no paper jam. I have cleaned all sensors, rollers etc. I have tried a partial and full reset. Any ideas?

  1. Turn off the HP product and turn it around so the back of the unit faces you.
  2. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the all-in-one. The power cord must be disconnected to allow the paper feed rollers to turn freely.
  3. Locate and open the rear access door by pressing in on the left side tab and then pulling the door toward you. Figure 2: Removing the rear access door

Inspect the pressure rollers on the rear access door and verify that they are clean and turn freely. Clean the rollers if needed with a soft towel lightly moistened with water. If the rollers do not turn freely, replace the rear access door. Click How to Buy on this page to order replacement parts.
  1. From the rear access door opening, remove the jammed paper.
  2. Remove the remaining paper from the paper supply tray. Discard any paper that is damaged or crumpled and then re-stack and reload the paper into the paper supply tray.
  3. Reinstall the rear access door.
  4. Reconnect the power cord to the unit and turn the unit on.

The following information will help prevent paper jams from occurring:
  • Never use paper that is torn or wrinkled.
  • If you are having problems using paper that has already been printed on once (recycling), replace it with new paper.
  • Remove and then reinstall the rear access door. Verify that the access door is fully locked in place. The paper can skew if the rear access door is not locked.
  • Every six months to one year, clean the paper feed rollers with a rag lightly moistened with water. Over time the paper feed rollers accumulate dust and do not function as well as they once did.
  • When printing envelopes, tuck the flap into the envelope and crease the folds before printing.

I no longer have my manual, how do I change the ink cartridges for the HP Officejet 6300 all-in-one?

To replace the print cartridges
1. Make sure the HP All-in-One is on.
Caution If the HP All-in-One is off when you open the print cartridge door
to access the print cartridges, the HP All-in-One will not release the
cartridges for changing. You might damage the HP All-in-One if the print
cartridges are not docked safely on the right side when you try to remove
2. Open the print cartridge door.
The print carriage moves to the far right side of the HP All-in-One.
3. Wait until the print carriage is idle and silent, and then lightly press down on a
print cartridge to release it.
If you are replacing the tri-color print cartridge, remove the print cartridge from the
slot on the left.
If you are replacing the black or photo print cartridge, remove the print cartridge
from the slot on the right.
4. Pull the print cartridge toward you out of its slot.
5. If you are removing the black print cartridge in order to install the photo print
cartridge, store the black print cartridge in the print cartridge protector or an
airtight plastic container.
If you are removing the print cartridge because it is low or out of ink, recycle the
print cartridge. The HP Inkjet Supplies Recycling Program is available in many
countries/regions, and lets you recycle used print cartridges free of charge. For

6. Remove the new print cartridge from its packaging and, being careful to touch
only the black plastic, gently remove the plastic tape by using the pink pull tab.
7. Slide the new print cartridge forward into the empty slot. Then gently push on the
upper part of the print cartridge forward until it clicks into the socket.
If you are installing the tri-color print cartridge, slide it into the left slot.
If you are installing a black or photo print cartridge, slide it into the right slot.
8. Close the print cartridge door
9. If you installed a new print cartridge, the print cartridge alignment process begins.
10. Make sure you have plain paper loaded in the input tray, and then press OK.
11. The HP All-in-One aligns the print cartridges. Recycle or discard the print

After replacing my printer cartridges, the printer will not print.

open your bakside and check your fuser assembly there is no any paper jam.
then reattach back side.
then pull cartridge and reattach it.
thenrestart your printer
now your pro is almost solved

Fuser Error

I truly believe that you did not take the fuser out. It is not a simple process and is not readily accessible.
You most likely took out the toner cartridge, which works with the fuser.
The fuser is what "fuses" the toner to the paper so the documents print as expected. There are fuser kits that can be purchased, and they usually come with some decent instructions.

in case of new printer
A fuser problem is serious but if it is is a new printer, use the warranty now. Don't play with it as more than likely you can't recover and you *MAY VOID* the warranty in any attempts, so use the warranty. You should have returned it immediately once the problem cropped-up to be within the quicker satisfaction settlement period, you may now have to deal with a warranty center if not the vendor themselves for repair, but start the process. Plus, document this as well, cal,s letters, etc. to best serve yourself if any other problems arise.

To explain what the fuser is, one must explain what the fuser does.

A laser printer works by assembling the page in its memory, then transfers that "image" by scanning a drum. The drum then picks up a charge which will attract the toner. By varying the laser you can induce specific dots, creating an image on the drum. The drum is rotated through the toner, the charge then attracts the oppositely charged toner particles (the uncharged sections don't have anything) The drum, now dark with toner, is touched to the paper, which has an opposite charge, thus transfer all the toner over to the paper. Then the paper is sent THROUGH the fuser, which basically MELTS the toner onto the paper permanently.

If the fuser is too hot, that means the temp control unit for the printer fuser has FAILED, and that is NOT something you can fix by yourself. The labor will likely cost more than the printer unless it's under warranty.

You took out the toner cartridge, which is NOT the fuser. Toner cartridge is just the toner and the drum together in one unit. The fuser is where it warns "high temp! do not touch!"

Just buy another printer or use the backup printer. Again, this is NOT something you can fix by yourself.

My Mitsubishi CP 9550 DW printer i just bought is saying MECHANICAL ERROR

Here is the manual. See page 5.
13 ) Mechanical Error.
After removing Error, press the FEED & CUT
14) Mechanical Error.
After removing Error, open and close the door.

Xerox Phaser 7750 faulty door sensor

it,s all $$ wherever you go ?
If you can find which wires contact ( Make/Break ) possibly with a multimeter. Remove the sensor, join the wires. tuck it into the inside of the printer.
tape it up to avoid any shorts.
