Question about Intel D865GBF Motherboard
No you cannot use ddr2 with this motherboard, this motherboard only supports ddr. And also ddr2 is not backwards compatible with ddr dimms because the notch is in a different position and the pin density is slightly higher then ddr dimms. ddr2 is a 240 pin module, ddr is a 184-pin module.
