You have 2 problems. Problem 1 either you main board or light engine is bad and needs to be replaced. Problem 2 is exactly what your TV says. Fan#1 isn't functioning properly so a heat sencor is being actiated to shut down your set. Make sure all the fans are free of debree and spinning. If one is not spinning, make sure it has voltage going to it. This will let you know if you have a bad fan, or a bad board.
First of all, that is not an LCD tv. It is DLP, which is a common mistake because the picture is very similar. DLP tv's use a high-power lamp that reflects light off of thousands of tiny mirrors into a spinning color wheel which gives the reflections color. Each little mirror is one pixel, which can be any color depending on the hole that it goes through on the color wheel. The color wheel may be spinning slower than normal, which could make all of the light go through the green filter on the color wheel, and give your screen a green tint. Have a trusted mechanic take your tv apart and dust the inside. If that doesn't fix it, you may need a new color wheel or bearings for it (that help it spin). You should not pay more than $200 for a bearing replacement on this tv.

Video, Component and TV standard inputs (not valid for RGB and DVI digital).
Using the Wall Color Correction [Wall Color]

I have the same Hitachi CP-S860 and have found the problem is with the convergence on the left and right sides of the picture. The one I am working on has a bad ghosting problem also - you can really see the ghosting when the MENU is on the screen. The center convergence is OK. Following Pics show Circle / Cross pattern - 1st pic the red, green and blue are turned on - 2nd pic shows green and blue on only. I do not have the service manual for this set so I do not know the convergence procedure on this one. I have mostly been repairing NEC, Sanyo, Panasonic and Christie LCD & DLP Projectors.
Things to consider regarding "blue skys"...
Time of day (Sunlight has different color spectrum mix & kelvin temp as the dawn passes on to night.
Atmospheric conditions - humidity, ozone, smoke/dust - all filter the colors
White Ballance - Do a manual WB before shooting each series.
Camera - different sensors are not created equal. One may play more to the blue end, another towards flesh tones. Lens systems, filters affect it too. Many say a good polorizer is one of the best investments for outdoor photos
Display media - Monitors need to be color balanced to accurately portray "what you shot". Likewise, color print labs do best with digital files tuned to their specific hardware profiles.
