I have electric Karcher 330. i did not use for a couple years. tried out today from storage, it seemed the water jet was not strong, so may be the pumper problem or I need to clean the inlet hose? thanks!

The problem is your water seals, you need to change them, over time it became dry rot. have the pump service at the same point. the springs in the valves can be rusty and brittle..

I would strongly recommend that you take it to a local small-engine repair shop. When an engine is stored for that length of time, the gasoline that is in the fuel tank, line, filter and, most importantly, carburetor breaks down and leaves a gummy residue behind that will clog the system.
I have a larger gas powered karcher, just make sure the water going to your karcher is not obstructed from its path. on mine i bought a goodyear hose that can be purchased at northern tools or any hardware store. and use it just for pressure washing. good luck!
With the water faucet turned fully on and the power switch on squeeze and hold the trigger for at least 10 seconds to let the water flow push the air out and then it should start up. Also, adjust the nozzle by turning it to increase pressure.
Check for proper flow at your pump and at the return jets. You have to sustain proper water flow in order of rthe heater to function properly. If the flow is adequate, then use a jumper lead across the pressure switch terminals on the heater and see if it will fire and remain on. If so then the pressure switch is either faulty or you have a flow problem which is not generating enough water pressure to trip the switch. DO NOT adjust the pressure switch, as it is factory set. Check your pump for a clogged inlet or other possible blockage before the heater.

It is not clear what type of lance or nozzel you have. You said that the machine works fine with the circulating water jet(the turbo). So it seems the machine is fine. I do sometimes service variable nozzels and variable lances. But the best solution is to replace nozzels and variable nozzles and lances with new ones. Regarding the fan spray setting it could have no pressure because it might be in the chemical setting. The chemical setting lets out a fan shape flow of water, but with less pressure. The chemical system only works on low pressure in domestic washers, that is why it needs a low pressure flat spray. The pencil jet has 2 jets comming out because if it is a lance or nozzel with ball bearings, these ball bearings must have stuck in a wrong position. Also 2 jets can come out, due to a damaged nozzel hole.
Altogether, the best advice is to buy a new nozzel or lance...which ever your machine uses. All Karcher machines have their own specific nozzels, lances and high pressure hoses. You cannot change these from one model to another.

Hi I have a karcher 3.99 the motor comes on and water comes out however thre is no pressure i have tested the lance on my brothers washer and this is ok what is wrong
