Question about Brother Multi-Function Center MFC-240C All-In-One InkJet Printer
Just bought the Brother MFC-240C and, after trying to send in the product registration using the fax feature, got the 'Scan Unable A6" error message.
The troubleshooting section of the manual says the cause might be that the machine has a mechanical problem or that there is a foreign object. It suggests that I open the scanner and remove any foreign object, then, disconnect the machine for several minutes. I tried both! There doesn't appear to be any foreign objects and unplugging the machine didn't help much.
What should I do next?
The scanner or main circuit board is defective. Give it back to dealer due to warranty.
